RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The Texas Southern men’s golf team remains steady as they remain in third place following the second round of the inaugural Hornet Invitational hosted by Alabama State University on Wednesday.

Junior Kci Lindskog posted a two-over-par round of 74 to give him a two-day total of 150 (76 – 74) and is currently tied for fifth place. Freshman Matt Vanhoy is one stroke back and in eighth place after his 151 (76 – 75) after finishing three-over-par. Junior Liam O’Rourke had a two-stroke improvement in his second round and is tied for 11th on 154 (78 – 76). two strokes back on 78 and currently tied in 10th place. Junior Ravepon Kosalutta is on 157 (78 – 78) while sophomore Darian Faust has a two-day total of 158 (83 – 75).

The Hornet Invitational is hosted at Grand Reserve Golf Club and the tournament format includes 54 holes over three days. Thursday’s final round begins at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.
