I wasn't there for the ASU game due to a family event that weekend, but looking at the box score, it looks like our girls were shooting poorly, ASU's defense was getting steals like crazy (and got a lot of points off of our turnovers), and ASU's Nakiya Smith came off the bench on fire on both sides of the ball.
 
Yeah that Smith girl is no joke just recently won SWAC POY award!!!!! Shocked that she beat out Parker!!!

I'm sad for the girls who lost yesterday coming one game short of making an NCAA Tourney appearance for the first time ever, but we're returning all but 1 player and that's a bright sign for the future of TSU Lady Tigers basketball!

This year: First ever SWAC Tournament Finals appearance
Next year: First ever NCAA Tournament appearance/win!
