Non-Conference Success
TCU posted a 9-4 mark in non-conference play a year ago and will look to capture its ninth non-conference win Sunday against Texas Southern. The Horned Frogs' .692 final non-conference winning percentage in 2012 marked their best figure since going 10-4 (.714) in 2004-05. TCU, who is 4-1 at home this season, went 7-2 in non-conference at the DMC a year ago. TCU has finished with a winning non-conference record each season since 2005-06.

With his back-to-back outings, the Fort Worth native has now scored 20 or more points nine times in his career.

What's Coming
A quick glance at the national polls show that TCU's schedule is about to get a lot more difficult as six conference foes are currently ranked or receiving votes in both polls. The Big 12 also boasts the No. 1 RPI among all conferences and has posted a 91-24 non-conference mark this season, which include eight victories over top 25 non-conference opponents.
