NATCHEZ — Texas Southern University’s men’s and women’s golf nearly swept all the top awards after the completion of Tuesday’s Day 2 play at the 2013 Alcorn State Invitational at Beau Pré Country Club.
Texas Southern’s men’s team had a Day 2 team score of 318 to hold off Arkansas-Pine Bluff to capture first place in its division with a two-day total of 642. Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s men’s team also had a team score of 318 on Tuesday to finish five shots back with a two-day score of 647.
