BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Briona Reid of Texas Southern University's women's soccer team was tabbed by College sports Madness as their SWAC Players of the Week.
College Sports Madness - Conference Players of the Week
During last weeks competition Reid scored the only goal for TSU during the match against St. Mary's on Sunday. 10 yards from the net, Reid put up a high kick at the top of the net, passsing SMU goalkeeper Alyssa Taramont at the 21st minute in the first period. She completed the game with two shots-on-goal and one goal.
Reid has thus far started in all games played during the 2013 season and holds a No.3 seat in shots and shots-on-goal for the Lady Tigers.
