JACKSON, Miss. - Texas Southern rallied from a double-digit deficit to get a big league road win over over Jackson State 66-63 on Monday night.

After a back and forth first half, Texas Southern trailed from 2:56 remaining in the half until the fourth, highlighted by a 19-8 that would subsequently put JSU ahead by as many as 11.

After TSU's Artavia Ford scored three quick points to give the Lady Tigers a 54-53 lead, Jackson State responded to take a 57-56 advantage with 2:09 left in regulation.

Texas Southern's Joyce Kennerson was the difference maker late, as she scored eight of Texas Southern's final 10 points to seal the game in TSU's favor.

Kennerson scored a total of 15 points as Texas Southern was led in scoring by Kaitlyn Palmer who tallied 16 points.

TSU will now get set to host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday at 5:30 pm at the HPE Arena.
