HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- The Texas Southern Tigers football team dropped a 30-13 decision to the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Saturday at Lewis Crews Stadium.
TSU fell behind by a score of 30-0 in the third quarter and the Tigers were unable to get back on track from that point despite scoring two touchdowns on rushes by quarterbacks Jay Christophe (19 yard run) and Dominic DeLira (2 yard run) in the second half of play to cut the Bulldogs lead to 17 points.

Linebacker Julian Marcantel led the Tigers in tackles as he tallied 10 stops (4 solo), while teammate Archie Rice contributed an interception and three tackles.

Alabama A&M amassed 505 yards of total offense against the Tigers while limiting TSU to 288 total offensive yards for the game.

Texas Southern will have a short week as they prepare to host the Alcorn State Braves at BBVA Compass Stadium on Friday, September 29 at 8:00 pm.
