The Southwestern Athletic Conference awarded Jazzmin Parker of Texas Southern with her fourth player of the week selection on January 21.

On Tuesday, the Houston, Texas native, won the SWAC player of the week award after averaging 26.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in a pair of wins last week over Grambling State (6-11,3-3) and Jackson State (6-10,4-2).
Parker scored a game high 34 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists to lead TSU (7-9,4-1) to a 77-63 victory over the GSU Lady Tigers on Saturday. It was TSU's fourth consecutive win over the Lady Tigers since the 2011-12 season.
During the 73-48 win over JSU on Monday, Parker paced the Lady Tigers with 19 points, shooting 12-of-16 at the free-throw line, along with eight rebounds, one steal and an assist to watch.
Parker, who leads the league in scoring with 22.2 ppg, has carried TSU to its first three conference wins of the year and six of its seven wins on the season.
