TUCSON, Ariz. — The Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division I All-American Baseball teams and National Player of The Year have been announced.

Texas Southern's Kamren Dukes has been named a third team selection at outfielder.

"Dukes entered our program as a walk-on and he has steadily improved each season that he has been with our program," said TSU head coach Michael Robertson. "It is because of his leadership along with our other seniors that we've been able to have so much success here at Texas Southern over the course of the past four seasons."

This marks the first time in the history of TSU Baseball that a student-athlete has garnered All-American honors.

"This is truly an historic occasion not just for Dukes but also for our program as a whole," added Robertson. "These type of accolades will allow future student-athletes and recruits to see that anything that can be accomplished in the game of baseball can be accomplished right here at Texas Southern University."
