Texas Southern Volleyball camp underway

HOUSTON- Preseason training camp is officially in full swing for the Texas Southern Lady Tigers Volleyball team.
This past offseason TSU welcomed the addition of several talented newcomers while also returning a large portion of a team that competed in the 2017 Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship match.
"We feel good about the pieces we were able to add over the course of the off season," said TSU head coach Jocelyn Adams. "We entered camp healthy and ready to go and we're really excited about starting the season in the upcoming weeks."
Texas Southern will officially begin the 2018 campaign on August 24th when the Lady Tigers travel to Hunstville, Texas to compete in a tournament hosted by Sam Houston State. Texas Southern is slated to face Bethune- Cookman in its opening match of the event.
TSU's first home match is slated for August 28th when the Lady Tigers host Houston Baptist.
