LORMAN, Miss.- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers got back to winning ways on Sunday with a 3-1 victory over the Alcorn State Braves.
Texas Southern entered the matchup fresh off a 1-1 tie versus Mississippi Valley State on Friday.
Briana Norwood returned to the Lady Tigers' active roster against MVSU scoring TSU's lone goal in the contest.
Against Alcorn State Mia Marshall, Desiree Harte, and Macey Shipman each contributed goals for Texas Southern in the victory.
History was also made on Sunday as Lady Tigers goal keeper Alexis Robles became the programs' all-time wins leader at goal keeper in school history.
Texas Southern will have a few days off before returning to the pitch on Thursday, October 25 for the home finale versus Prairie View A&M.
