At Texas Southern, Cory Carter boomed the football with hang time and distance.
Now, Carter is hoping to build on the good impression he created with the Texans during their local prospect day in April.
After going undrafted, Carter accepted an invitation to try out for the Texans at their rookie minicamp this week. If it goes well, he could be signed to an NFL contract and officially join their roster.
