In the second quarter, Texas Southern was first on the scoreboard when Trey Walker intercepted a Brain Bell pass and took it 85 yards to the Sam Houston 9 yard line. The Tiger offense then scored with a 27-yard field goal by Eric Medina. They led 3-0.[/font]
