Garfinkel named Todd Kline, formerly of the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), to the newly created position of Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer. In this new role, Kline will oversee all sponsor revenue for the Dolphins, including corporate partnerships and events. In addition, Garfinkel announced Jeremy Walls and Jason Jenkins were promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs, respectively. Walls will take his considerable experience and success in sales and service to lead the team’s marketing, ticket sales/operations and entertainment efforts, while Jenkins will direct the organization’s communications and community affairs, including digital media and the Miami Dolphins Foundation.

“Todd Kline adds world-class experience in partnership and media sales to our leadership team. His relationship-based and innovative approach will help us grow the value proposition for our partners,” Garfinkel said. “Jeremy Walls is an inspirational leader who has consistently produced stellar results, and marrying ticketing with marketing provides us with the opportunity to better know and serve our fans. Jason Jenkins has demonstrated tremendous communications expertise. But more importantly, he’s proven to be a strategic and collaborative leader in the organization who has improved everything he’s touched.”

A well-rounded and results-driven executive with domestic and international experience in sponsorship sales, media sales and partnership activation, Kline comes to the Dolphins after serving as the Senior Vice President of Partnership and Media Sales for AEG Global Partnerships, the worldwide sponsorship and premium seating sales division of AEG. In this role, Kline oversaw sales and client activation for the cable television network, AXS TV, as well as AXS Ticketing and the AXS.com Digital Network. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and The Johns Hopkins University.

Under Walls’ leadership in 2014, the Dolphins led the NFL in home ticket sales growth, had the highest renewal percentage in five years and had over 70,000 paid attendance in seven games. He joined the Dolphins from the San Diego Padres for whom he served as the Vice President of Ticket Sales, Service & Operations. While at the Padres, the ticket sales and service team was recognized by the SportsBusiness Journal as the No. 1 ticket sales and service team in Major League Baseball two years in a row. Prior to his time with the Padres, Walls was the Director of Team Marketing & Business Operations for the National Basketball Association. Walls’ background also includes stints in sales management for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the NBA’s Phoenix Suns. Walls earned a degree in sports management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Jenkins, entering his seventh season with the Dolphins, previously served as the team’s Vice President of Communications, being named to that position in May 2013. Jenkins also served as the team’s Senior Director of Media Relations and originally started with the Dolphins in 2009 as Director of Media Relations.
