TSU’s Grand Tiger Parade comes home

The long-awaited return of the annual Texas Southern University Grand Tiger Parade to the Third Ward is now only 10 days away. Organizers have scoured the country in search of the most magnificent drill teams, marching bands, and car clubs. Top local troupes will join forces with units from Missouri and Louisiana to entertain the crowd.

Don't miss Miss TSU CaSandra Cantue and her Royal Court, TSU's wide variety of campus organizations and the Ocean of Soul Marching Band as they showcase the best of Texas Southern University.

Make plans now to secure your spot along the route and prepare to witness precision marching units, colorful floats, and exciting drill teams from all over the city.

The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, starting at Burkett and Cleburne streets, traveling up Cleburne to Almeda, turning left on Almeda to Blodgett, turning left on Blodgett and ending on Tierwester Street.
