Houston
– FOX Sports is taking over Houston to kick off the NFL season from the same place the NFL season will end when Super Bowl LI comes to town in February. Before the first full day of games on Sunday September 11th, FOX NFL Sunday will broadcast live at 11am from downtown Houston.

In conjunction with the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee, FOX NFL SUNDAY will broadcast from Houston’s Discovery Green in downtown on Sunday morning. Discovery Green will also be the home of Super Bowl LIVE, the 10-day fan event slated to kick off in late January 2017.

This will be the first time that the FOX NFL Sunday crew, Terry Bradshaw, Curt Menefee, and analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, and NFL insider Jay Glazer will be coming to the Bayou City, but they’ll all be back again as the season wraps up at NRG Stadium.

Sunday’s special event at Discovery Green is free and open to the public, where the marching band of Strahan’s alma mater, Texas Southern will perform.
