As Kevin Granger will be recognized on January 27th at halftime of the Texas Southern - Arkansas-Pine Bluff men's basketball game for being named a 2013-14 Progressive Legends Classic Honoree, I figured I'd bring back this moment in TSU Basketball History from 1995 when he was on the team:
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Arkansas Corliss Williamson hit two free throws with 26.9 seconds left Friday and Texas Southern's Randy Bolden missed a game-tying free throw with 6.1 seconds to go as the defending national champions escaped with a 79-78 victory in a Midwest regional first-round game.
