Almeta Scott Crawford, a language arts teacher at Dulles High School, has received a proclamation from the state.
"In honor of her outstanding service in education and devotion to students, Dulles High School English Language Arts teacher, Almeta Scott Crawford, was honored with a proclamation from the State of Texas," according to a Fort Bend Independent School District release.
Crawford Crawford is a graduate of Texas Southern University, where she obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
The honor was presented by Ron Reynolds, state representative for Fort Bend County's House District 27.
