TSUSports.com: Tigers lose hard fought game to WSU in overtime

PULLMAN, Washington- The Texas Southern Tigers nearly pulled off yet another signature Mike Davis non-conference upset as they lost a nail-biter to Washington State of the PAC-12 falling 86-84 in overtime on Sunday.
Donte Clark and Demontrae Jefferson each contributed 22 points in the contest to lead the team.

Texas Southern led 42-24 at halftime before WSU stormed back in the second half outscoring TSU 48-30 to force overtime.

Washington State tallied 14 points in overtime while the Tigers posted 12 points which ended up being enough for WSU to hold on for the win.

Texas Southern travels to face Ohio State the next time the Tigers take the floor.
