HOUSTON- Texas Southern Lady Tigers Track and Field team members Nikole Haroon (400 m) and Alexis Gray (200 m) have earned bids to the NCAA West Preliminary Round at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California, May 24-26.
Athletes who rank among the top 48 in their respective events earned berths into the NCAA West Preliminary Round.
The qualifiers out of the region will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 6-9 in Eugene, Oregon.
At the 2018 SWAC Championships Haroon won the 400 meter dash while teammate Gray (2nd 200 meter) also claimed a top three finish.
