TSUSports.com: Jackson State's second half surge leads to win over TSU

JACKSON, Miss. – Jackson State came from behind to defeat Texas Southern 85-80 in overtime at the Lee E. Williams Assembly Center on Saturday.

Texas Southern held a 43-31 advantage at the half after the Tigers got off to a hot start from the field shooting 56 percent.

The Tigers cooled off in the second half as TSU shot just 29 percent from the floor in games' final stanza.

Demontrae Jefferson scored a game-high 34 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists while Donte Clark had 18 points and seven rebounds for TSU.
