College Sports Madness has named Texas Southern guard Brianna Sidney as their Madness SWAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week for her performance.
Sidney, a Brooklyn, New York native, scored 29 points to help power TSU to a 74-70 victory over Prairie View A&M on Saturday. She has led the Lady Tigers in scoring for their last two wins on the season and currently ranks second on the team in points (13.0) and assists (2.6) and is tied for first on the team in steals (1.6).
