HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers baseball team will learn its NCAA baseball tournament first round opponent on Monday, May 29, with the NCAA Division I baseball selection show set to air live on ESPN2 at 11:00 a.m. (CST).
Texas Southern earned its second SWAC Baseball Tournament title in three seasons last week, and fourth in school history after defeating Alabama State 4-2 in a 13 inning championship game to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The last time the Tigers appeared in the NCAA Tournament was in 2015 where they competed at the Texas A&M Regional in College Station.
